Q4Max 0.80 is released!!! This release brings a number of major changes

SuperHud: This new system allows you to easily to create custom HUD layouts, and gives a significant boost to framerate - typically increasing FPS by 25%. Anyone who has edited a CPMA SuperHud will be largely familiar with the syntax, although there are a few differences, so take a look at the examples and documentation.

Multiplayer Bots: Our Artificially Intelligent friends have reached the point where we are happy to list them as a feature. In addition to basic navigation skills, they understand some complex concepts like timing armors and dodging their opponent's fire. There are always ways bots can be improved, but hopefully you'll enjoy them at this point.

Menu Restructure: The menus have been significantly restructured ; most importantly, the entire settings menu is accessible in-game.

Q4MAX 0.81

0.81 release is mainly focusing on additions to the superHUD
and some improvements to Freezetag, there also other changes.

--> new hud_useTeamColors cvar makes the HUD use the same team/enemy colors as the skins,
or if you'd rather stick to a marine vs strogg color scheme,
you can now change these too - eg the minimal HUD style is set to red vs blue

- freezetag has lots of fixes and changes
- cycle through the players in the multipov mode
- frozen gib effects when players thaw,
- improved feeling to the knockback when you shoot frozen players...

Q4Max 0.82 is released

There are 3 significant changes in this release:

Tutorbot. The tutorbot allows you to record and playback snippets which you can share with other players, or use for practicing yourself. For more details, see the page in the wiki.
cg_unsmoothclients. This new cvar (defaulted to the preferred value of 2), makes the prediction of the other players' positions more accurate, and so makes the game much more playable at higher pings at the cost of some smoothness.
The Domination gametype ("callvote mode dom"). This is a team-game where you gain points for your team by capturing points throughout the level.

Of course, there are also the usual assorted other tweaks and updates : extra SuperHud options, infinite ammo votes, and fixes for some invisible projectiles coming from nowhere, a gui bug leaking large amounts of memory on dedicated servers, and "the headless quaker" bug.

!Note to Mac users : Q4Max still runs on OS X. The Mac-specific package of this release might come at a later time.
At the moment, just unzip the new file from above into your .81 install.
